Plus there is a whole lot of red mist as we have plenty of head shots with rifles, hammer guns and as I said anything these survivors can lay their hands on. The humour is quite simply Australian with a sort of matter of fact, laid backness to it whilst there is a touch of "Mad Max" to things as we get are heroes wearing what ever armour they can lay their hands on to try and protect themselves in a truck they have plumbed in to a zombie's mouth for fuel.īut alongside all this frankly quite curious humour you have the horror with some wonderful make up when it comes to the zombies, nothing out of the ordinary but effective enough to work for a modern audience. The thing is I don't really know how to describe "Wyrmwood: Road of the Dead" because whilst it is another zombie comedy it isn't comparable to say "Shaun of the Dead" or "Zombieland".
